About Us

Dance Moves And Gymnastics is a gymnastics center located in Lafayette, IN. We specialize in dance and gymnastics classes. We offer preschool and school-age classes for gymnastics, dance, baton, tumbling, and cheer. Founded in 1982, our mission is to provide your child with a fitness-based learning program in a fun, creative, and safe environment. We're looking forward to serving Tippecanoe County and the surrounding areas to continue to offer a premier gymnastics center experience. Our Story

Our founder, Linda, established our business in 1982 after working for the YMCA for many years. She decided to branch out on her own so she could teach the fundamentals of gymnastics in a more compassionate and personal approach. We’re proud to have had the opportunity to be in business for over 40 years and grow as the years have passed, and we’re grateful to provide the Lafayette community and surrounding areas with a professional and trusted spot to learn and practice the sports and arts they love.

We’re a gymnastics and dance center with specialty classes in gymnastics, dance, cheer and baton and more. We’re safety and concussion certified and a member of the National Gymnastics Association. We emphasize teaching the basics, technique and conditioning, to build a solid foundation for continued growth and learning. Our teachers have years of experience and genuinely care about each and every student. We work with every student personally to learn their needs and what they need to work on, so we can make the most out of the time spent at our facility. Our focus is that every student enjoys their lessons with us and feels fully satisfied in the progress they’re making.

We put our best foot forward in every class and for every student to give back some of the support that we’ve received throughout the years from our community and our students. We wouldn’t be where we are without them, and we’re blessed by the relationships we’ve been able to build and the memories we’ve made over time. Our mission is for every person who takes a class with us to have the best possible experience while setting themselves up for continued success in the future should they wish to continue on.
